COVID-19 HAS COME TO OREGON & LINN COUNTY

As you’ve certainly already heard, the Coronavirus is starting to make its impact in Oregon. Businesses in Oregon are already feeling the slowdown, and schools are starting to close their doors to keep students healthy.

If you’re concerned about the Coronavirus and already have a session scheduled with me, please feel free to reach out! I understand the impact this is having on everyone’s daily lives and I want to do my best to minimize stress or worry for all of my clients.

What can you expect from Marilla Kay Photography during this time?

I am checking the CDC recommendations regularly and connecting with other businesses and news sources to see how the spread of the Coronavirus is impacting Albany, Corvallis, and the Linn County area, as well as all of Oregon.

I AM GOING ON MATERNITY LEAVE…

In a season of concern, I have something to be thankful for because this slowdown conveniently coincides with my maternity leave! In case you weren’t aware, Baby Boy is showing up anytime now! He isn’t due for a few more weeks, but he’s already starting to show signs that he’s ready to come out and mama feels it! I am limping a bit and moving a lot slower these days.

I did a self portrait maternity session last month and already feel so much bigger!

What can you expect during my maternity leave?

I’m taking several weeks off when my Little One comes to recover and get to know this sweet little human, but afterwards, he’ll be coming to work with me when possible. During my time away, I will not be responding to emails regularly, but you will absolutely receive a reply upon my return to work.

I NOW HAVE A STUDIO SPACE AVAILABLE!

Marilla Kay Photography now has a physical office and a little studio space. We are still in the process of getting the space set up, but I am hoping to be done before I go into labor. I am renting a space in the upstairs of a beautiful historic building on Second Avenue in downtown Albany Oregon.

The Coronavirus might overshadow this news, but it’s still a big deal to me!

What can you expect in the new Marilla Kay Photography office?

I will be hosting consultations in the studio space and I am also available for branding, portrait, and headshot sessions in my studio! Simply let me know during the booking process if you prefer an outdoor session or a studio shoot.
